D6M KTM NZ Race Team Partner with Whites Powersports for 2026 NZSBK Season

New Zealand’s official KTM road racing effort — D6M KTM NZ — will partner with Whites Powersports for the 2026 New Zealand Superbike Series.

The three-rider team of Cameron Leslie (reigning 300 Supersport Champion), Hamish Simpson, and Logan Rowell will campaign KTM RC8C machinery in the Supersport 600 class, equipped with premier Whites Powersports brands including LS2 Helmets, RK Chains and Motobatt batteries to name a few, in addition to the official series tyre — Bridgestone.

Double Six Motorsport Team Principal, Jack Clay stated “D6M KTM NZ has enjoyed a long and proud history in New Zealand motorcycle road racing, competing across a variety of classes over the years. But this step into the 600 Supersport category with the KTM RC8C represents our most ambitious and exciting chapter yet. To take that step alongside Whites Powersports — one of the most respected and established names in the industry — is a milestone moment and a true highlight in our portfolio of partnerships.

Our riders, engineers, and crew will be working closely with the team at Whites Powersports, drawing on the strength of world-class brands such as LS2 helmets and RK Chains. Just as importantly, we’ll be collaborating to deepen our technical knowledge and maximise performance on the exceptional Bridgestone tyres that will carry us through the season.

At its core, this partnership is built on shared values. Both D6M KTM and Whites Powersports are committed to professionalism, performance, and innovation, while also respecting the heritage and community that make this sport so special. We see this as the beginning of a powerful and enduring relationship, and we’re looking forward to delivering not only a successful season on the track but also a partnership that continues to grow well into the future.”

Whites Powersports CEO, Kyne Larkin commented on the new partnership, “We’re very pleased to be involved with firstly the great group of people that make up D6M, and then of course such a professional team with full manufacturer backing in KTM New Zealand.”

Larkin continued, “It's an honour to be working with one of the top-tier teams on the grid, supporting them with a variety of our trusted brands such as Bridgestone, LS2 and RK Chains.

“We are pumped to collaborate with people striving to be the best and having a work ethic and values that align with our own."

“Having seen D6M develop their program, gain more manufacturer support and break into the Supersport 600 class, we hear they have been in communications with other KTM RC8C teams abroad who are already successfully using Bridgestones and have been gathering data for their own testing.”

“We’re looking forward to being a part of Cameron, Logan and Hamish’s progression into the new class on the new bike and being involved in their journey in NZ road racing and possibly beyond.”

D6M KTM NZ will kick off their local Season with testing and the AMCC series at Hampton Downs, before the real season starts in December with the Suzuki International Series, warming up to the four-round Star Insure New Zealand Superbike Series presented by Bridgestone, which begins in Ruapuna at the end of January 2026 and concludes at Taupo in March.
